Camp Eligibility

The Snyder Wrestling Summer Camp is open to wrestlers entering grades 6-12 in Fall 2025. Campers will be grouped by age, grade level, and experience, creating a supportive environment where everyone can maximize their skills and growth in each session. Whether you're new to wrestling or a seasoned competitor, you'll be training alongside peers who match your level, making every session both challenging and rewarding.

We offer both commuter and resident camper options to suit your preferences and comfort level, allowing you to choose the setup that works best for you and your wrestler!

The SWS Summer Camp is for experienced wrestlers who are serious about taking their skills to the next level. If you have a wrestler who does not meet the age requirement to attend camp but is experienced enough to train with older athletes, please email us at info@snyderwrestling.com as we do make exceptions on a case by case basis.

General Camp Questions

For quick answers, please refer to the FAQs on this page—your question may already be covered there! If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out via our Contact Us form. Email is the fastest way to reach us, and we typically respond within 12 hours.

We will provide a mattress, pillow, pillow case, and blanket. Campers must provide all additional bedding to include sheets, and extra blankets; sleeping bags are recommended. Rooms include a bed and mattress for each camper, but you must provide your own towels, wash cloths, and any other toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste). You should also bring enough T-shirts, shorts, and socks for 3 changes daily; you’ll be sweating and will need to change multiple times a day. Campers must bring at least one pair of running shoes and one pair of wrestling shoes. It is recommended that campers bring Sandals to camp for moving around in between sessions or in the dorms.

We strongly recommend leaving valuables at home (such as jewelry, electronics, large amounts of cash, etc.), as we cannot guarantee the security of personal items during camp. To ensure a safe environment, please stay vigilant: always lock your doors and label all personal belongings. This will help make sure everyone can focus on training and having an incredible camp experience.

Yes. You should bring your own laundry detergent and change to operate the machines.

Yes! We will always do our best to group wrestlers coming from the same school together. However, our training groups are determined by grade, experience, and weight, to ensure the best experience for each athlete.

Please note that there will be no dedicated autograph or photo session at this camp. To keep the focus on quality instruction and to stay on schedule, we kindly ask all campers, parents, and coaches to refrain from requesting autographs or photos during camp. This will help us maintain an optimal learning environment for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Absolutely. Spectators are always welcome to watch all sessions during the camp in the Messiah University gym. We kindly ask that parents and coaches do not enter the dining facility, dorms, or any other buildings on campus.
